Llandarcy Academy- Going from Biggar to better with Hydrachill.

In 2015, Llandarcy Academy, also the training home of Ospreys rugby, invested in their first two Hydrachills.

Pride of place, in the reception area outside the main fitness suite, was a Hydrachill Original 2-in-1 Refilling Station, branded with a full-scale image of Dan Biggar, then an Osprey, Wales and future British Lions star.

More than a decade of unbroken performance and nearly 900,000 uses later, the machine remains as reliable and user popular as ever.

For Managing Director Wyn Evans however, it was time for change. Wyn had become aware of the New Generation Hydrachill with its exceptional new features, including the ability to remotely manage screen content.

“We are effectively averaging nearly 100,000 uses per annum on the current Hydrachill “said Wyn. “That’s a lot of member interactive contact. So, in addition to the revenue we accrue from machine reusable bottle sales, there is obvious marketing and advertising potential through the media screen. Our marketing department (SA1 Creative) works from a separate location. They’ve done a superb job on the new machine graphics and the Hydrachill Portal allows them to manage and change content remotely, at our convenience”

And the original Hydrachill? “Still going strong” added Wyn, “we’ll just relocate it elsewhere in the premises.” A fair call but whenever Llandarcy is ready, Hydrachill has a stream of schools lined up for its fully regenerated re-use.
