A School's lesson in space economy, legacy and sustainability. Highlands School Enfield, London.

Balancing space economy, efficiency and user appeal in your water dispenser choice.

Like many schools and other organisations, Highland School In Enfield were faced with a space dilemma in deciding where to locate new and desperately needed water refilling stations.

When you are one of North London’s biggest high schools, the movement of 1500 students in confined corridors between classes, presents a particular challenge. Conventional floor standing dispensers can simply add to the clutter and get easily knocked or damage.

The answer for Highland was made simple. A survey by Hydrachill Ltd, identified specific walls and alcoves in campus corridors, with convenient voids behind to discreetly accommodate chillers; in all enabling seven Hydrachill Mural wall mounted water dispensers to be installed and commissioned.

The bottle refilling water stations, in Hydrachills unique fashion, have been beautifully custom branded to customer livery, adding brand value and enhancing user appeal. The specially adapted vinyl gives a high-quality finish warrantied for 5 years, indoor or out.

“The machines are proving popular with students and staff alike, providing fresh, cold water while helping Highlands move closer to its sustainability goals.

What began as a simple idea has now become a lasting legacy. a perfect example of how creativity, teamwork, and persistence can bring meaningful change.

A huge thank you to the team at Hydrachill for their patience and support through to the final installation”
